The five year old who can't seem to learn her letters becomes the six year old who can't match sounds to letters. By age 11, she is the child who would rather hide in the bathroom than read our loud in class. At the age of 18, her excruciatingly slow reading make it nearly impossible to finish school tasks.

Individual or small group therapy sessions have been proven to be the most effective. During the dyslexia therapy session, we address specific academic areas in phonological awareness, alphabetic principles, handwriting, decoding, encoding, fluency and comprehension. Each session is scheduled to be 30-60 minutes based on student need. Adjustments to the individual sessions are flexible and adjusted as needed.
Our goal is student growth! Every few sessions we progress monitor each student. Your child will be monitored in all areas of foundational reading skills, fluency, comprehension, spelling, writing and vocabulary. We will always communicate progress with the parents.
